I finally finished the first study for the painting ‘Forest God’, mapping some of the shamanic work that I have been doing in collaboration with the local land guardian of our woods.
I am now about 3/4’s of the way through the second larger study and really getting stuck in exploring some other aspects of our interactions.
I am off to pick up some texture media this afternoon, as I have a feeling study #3 is going to be an experiment focusing on the surface of the painting… bring on the bark!
