‘Dawnstar’ – The beginning of something new…
This painting is taken from a recent journey I made, during which, as part of a teaching I was told to watch and experience the Sun rise in the middle world, as well as within myself.
It was a very profound and beautiful experience that has also on a more practical level, helped push my painting that little bit closer to expressing my experiences more clearly.
I can feel a shift (yet again) in the way I am working and birthing these luminous maps, these sign posts to the Sacred. I am currently working on another painting based on my experiences of a lightning storm a few nights ago.
