‘Summoning up a Storm’ – a recent painting from some work with a lightning storm we had a few nights ago.
We were up at 4am watching the storm as it sat on top of us for at least half an hour. It was one of the most spectacular storms I have ever experienced in Britain, and truly humbling in its sheer wildness and raw power.
We are not the ones in charge on this planet, no matter how much we sometimes like to think we are!
