‘She Who Protects The Land’ – Honoring that which we treasure most…
This latest painting is taken from some recent journeys and work with my local land Spirits (Wights), those who work as stewards to the land.
It was a gentle reminder about how when we work with the land and honor her, that she responds in kind, sometimes in surprising and powerful ways.
I have noticed that when working with a particular place on a regular basis, that there is a definite awakening of energy there where often it has been dormant. Just a small amount of effort and intent on our part can go a long way, and I am assured that no effort however small goes unnoticed and that all work is greatly appreciated.
