Hearga – a place of sanctuary, healing and protection…
I finished this small painting yesterday after some of my recent journeys deep into the forests seeking sanctuary, to rest and replenish myself as well as seek guidance.
It is so important to honor the ebb and flow of our internal tides and to have a space that will hold us gently apart from the world when we need to decompress.
This painting is an altar to those energies, to the sacred spaces and their spirits that hold, nurture and protect us when we need them most. Thank you.
