‘The West Road’ – Magic, Healing & Balance…
This is the third painting in my series mapping the compass, helping to deepen my personal relationship with the six directions.
This was a particularly powerful journey for me, as I am very much a ‘Water’ person in nature, which like everything has its medicine as well as its potential vulnerabilities.
The West road for me is very much about balance, finding the sweet spot between too much and too little, which is were the magic and healing reside.
The West is the place of the setting sun, dusk, where it is neither day nor night…. a liminal time and space, a place of magic and stepping between worlds.
