‘Journeys to the Lowerworld I’ – Navigating the ways…
This is the first of a series of six paintings I have just finished, mapping routes through the tunnels and byways from my journeys to the Lowerworld (Helheim / Ukhupacha.)
I have tried amongst other things in these paintings, to convey the scale and luminous beauty of these vast caverns and tunnels through which meander and wind the paths less traveled.
